Day 1 (SAT) — Arrival + Orientation
Gear fitting, safety systems, river overview, retreat orientation, hot tub recovery.
Day 2 (SUN)— Lake + Flatwater Skills
Wet exits, strokes, edging, intro roll work, confidence building.
Day 3 (MON) — Intro River Day - Middle Liucura to Below the Wave
First current reading, eddies, ferrying on beginner Class I–II sections. Section ends with a couple of class II+ rapids for the climax.
Day 4 (TUE) — Skill Consolidation - Rio San Pedro (ALL GROUPS ONE RIVER)
A trip highlight is the big volume beautiful clear water of the San Pedro. Take a hard shell or inflatable kayak for this high adventure day of fun.
Repeat section with skill targets + optional small feature surfing.
Day 5 (WED)— Progression River Day - Trancura Delta or Lower Liucura
Trancura Delta (I to II+)... this scenic section offers basic eddy line and rapid features. Paddle right into Lago Villarrica to practice flat water rolls.
Tip... pack beverages and snacks for the beach takeout.
Pucon tour and culinary adventure.
Day 6 (THU) — Lower Liucura or Rio Fuy
Pending skills beginner kayakers will kayak a higher action section of the Lower Liucura or Rio Fuy.
Day 7 — Celebration Paddle + Hot Springs / Culture
River repeat OR step-up section OR IK progression option.
🔵 INTERMEDIATE TRACK - Precision + Class III Confidence
Day 1 (SAT) — Arrival + Skill Assessment + Fire & Ice + Appetizers + Showers + Orientation... Welcome to Chile.
Day 2 (SUN) — Warm-Up + Skill Benchmark Middle Trancura + Fire and Ice
Combat roll reps, ferry precision, eddy acceleration. Intermediates start just one KM above the retreat at a beach offering flat water warm up drills space, and class I to III rapids down to the retreat takeout.
Walk up the river bank to a hot tub and cold beverage. This is going to be good.
Day 3 (MON) — Middle Liucura to Ponchos + Fire & Ice Challenge at Retreat
Feature linking, boof timing, current management. There are plenty of development features including a surf wave and aggressive ferries. We believe the Middle Liucura is Chile's best development section of river.
Day 4 (TUE) — All Group Rio San Pedro
Lines, micro-eddy use, surf + control in pushy water.
Day 5 (WED) — Lower Trancura + Pucon Tour and Culinary Adventure
Confidence building in bigger features and faster water. Put in right at the retreat and paddle this action packed section of boofs, eddies and fun rapids.
Day 6 (THU) — Lower Fuy
Drive 180 degrees to the other side of Volcano Villarrica and experience the beauty of another volcano drainage on the Lower Fuy section. Big waves and fun action with plenty of ferries, eddies, and rapid challenges.
Day 7 (FRI) — Fun Run + Kayaker Choice + Hot Springs
Day 8 (SAT) - Morning Lap or Pack (pending time)
🔴 ADVANCED TRACK - Big water and waterfall prep
Day 1 (SAT)— Arrival + River Strategy + Fire & Ice + Orientation
Day 2 (SUN) — Safety Systems Review + High Quality Warm-Up Section
Timing, edge control, power strokes in current.
Lower Trancura section for proper skills assessment and advanced challenge moves. Put in right at the retreat property.
Fire and Ice by the river after your kayaking trip.
Day 3 (MON) — Continuous Whitewater Linking... Upper Trancura
Surf waves, move chaining, fast decision making.
Upper Trancura offers six miles of continuous class IV and even a couple of protagable V whitewater boofing, challenge moves, serious rapids, fun waves and excitement.
Take out at the retreat and walk directly to the hot tub and a cold beverage.
Day 4 (TUE) — All Group Rio San Pedro
Drive south around Volcano Villarrica to this glorious big volume play run with plenty of challenges for all skill.s Lines, micro-eddy use, surf + control in pushy water. Challenge moves, consequence management, safety strategy.
Day 5 (WED) — Upper Palguin Basalt Canyon Waterfalls + Pucon Tour and Culinary Adventure
Kayakers start with waterfall safety and instruction. Dial lines, style, and efficiency.
Seal launch is idea to practice your stomp.
Double Drop is world's best boof learning spot complete with a ladder to lap and receive immediate video feedback.
The bigger the waterfall the easier it is on the Palguin... Twenty feet is the big bird.
Day 6 (THU) — Lower Fuy + Pescador Advanced Canyon
Drive 180 degrees around Volcano Villarrica to a separate volcano valley. Draining Glacier Molcho advanced kayakers hike into the Middle Fuy Canyon below the mandatory 50 footer an class V section to kayak to the Lower Fuy.
Advanced kayakers hike into a temperate basalt canyon paradise for an added three KM of busy whitewater boofing and challenge lines.
Join the Lower Fuy group or charge fast for additional laps.
Day 7 (FRI) — Fun Run + Kayaker Choice + Hot Springs
Day 8 (SAT) - Pack and Transfer
Futa Group drive to Puerto Montt
